Description:

The beatmapping of Moby's new track revealed to us a nature typical of a loop - the lyrics being the call of despair of a song caught in its personal Groundhog Day. Consequently, we contemplated over the idea of a human life that mirrors the nature of the song that is its soundtrack - caught in the loop of a life where the past always outruns the future, and where the man is a captive of his own identity. But to us, ‘Wait for Me’ is not just a son g of mourning; but also of hope. The man is a victim, but he is also a martyr. His song is a plead, but it is also a battle cry. It is a humble request, but it is also a forceful demand. The music video is the story of his Great Escape from the giant evil suitcase- through a mysterious white bus that may cut perpendicularly through the closed circle, that he hopes will wait for him, or is it merely a red herring on four wheels? The Vagrant in Sneakers outruns himself.

This video has been produced by Gautam Valluri and Anuj Malhotra. They produced it at a budget of $210, over a period of five endless weekends. It has been shot on a Z1, and edited on FCP.
