There is a district in Madrid (Spain), that everybody knows as "the league district". This district was founded after the civil war, and all the streets were named like the soccer teams from the national league. When it was inaugurated, a tournament was held and then was when the tradition began. Till our days. Every street has its team, and the people from that street are the players. Every week there are matches between those teams like if it was the real national league. There are rankings, lineups, transfers..everything exactly the same as the real league, but without money or press conferences. Just soccer.
This is like a city within the city: They all know each other and soccer is just an excuse to make things together. Since they are child, kids are hoping to join the team of their street, and this is how it has been for generations.
This is an amazing district.
