A family sets out on a journey to reach the high planes in a search for their original purpose.

This is a detailed animatic of the idea I had for this song.
I found out about the competition last week and was stoked to participate and instantly had images flowing into my head. I came up with the story the following day and then proceeded to draw the storyboard, and It was clear I didn't have enough time to fully realize my story, so I decided to do an animatic with as much detail as possible given the time I had (in between jobs, even).
This is the result and I finished it very close to the deadline, which is why I didn't have the time to render the video in HD.
Needless to say I'd finish it in all its glory if I won, but nevertheless I didn't want this idea to die, and it was made solely for "Children of the Sun", so there was no other way. I hope you like it!
