When I started to brainstorm the video, I kept getting an image of a man on the warpath and leaving destruction in his wake. The idea that the things that build us up can also be our destruction popped up and was echoed in an interview the group gave about the song and dealing with the ups and downs their career has gone.

From there, it evolved into our take on a Hollywood Action Movie in 4 minutes. Many videos I see on the site tend to be very moody, experimental, and we wanted to go a different route.
