Our collaborative, end-to-end production platform connects clients with a vast community of filmmakers, production companies, directors, editors, animators and other creators to produce all types of content - from TV pilots and TVCs to social content and short films.

Our clients include large brands, agencies, media companies and record labels, who upload briefs to the platform, commission creative ideas from our community and manage video production through our end-to-end software platform. We provide ongoing production solutions through partnerships with Google and Facebook, and our client base includes brands like Uber, Sony, HP, Diageo, Tourism New Zealand and Universal.

Genero's head office is in Melbourne, with growing teams based in Sydney, London, Singapore, San Francisco, New York, Los Angeles and Sao Paulo.

The role

We’re looking for an enthusiastic, tech-savvy, creative and task-oriented graduate to join our Melbourne office, working closely with our Community Manager.

The ideal candidate has a keen interest in the creative/advertising industries, filmmaking/video production and social media/digital marketing. This role is highly collaborative, and will require outstanding communication skills.

You’ll have the opportunity to be involved in a broad range of areas across our business, with a focus on:

  • Helping grow and nurture our global community of creators

  • Supporting the launch and promotion of client briefs across the platform, email newsletters, social media and digital marketing

  • Providing administrative support to clients and creators across the platform

  • Reviewing creative pitches and portfolios

  • General assistance to clients and our regional sales teams throughout the end-to-end video production process to ensure positive outcomes and a fantastic experience

  • Providing input into our technology platform to improve the process and tools for clients and creators

  • Assisting with the content creation including blog posts, email newsletters, social media posts, FAQs etc

The successful candidate

  • A media/communications degree or relevant tertiary qualification

  • Excellent written communication skills and attention to detail

  • Prior experience in related tech/film/communications organisations highly regarded

  • An understanding of filmmaking/the production process and ability to assess the credentials of filmmakers pitching on client briefs

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, be self-motivated and show initiative - we are a very entrepreneurial company and are looking for someone who can contribute to that culture

  • Have a positive can do attitude and embrace new challenges

  • Strong interest in film, advertising, digital marketing and social media
